Anyone knows what is the max planet field count from colonization?
The max i have seen so far is 340.

I have 405 fields

You get more free fields easier on a large planet. But large planets often produce slightly less resources than small ones.
Yes, the process is still randomized but like I said, it's easier to get high amounts of free fields on large planets with less colonization tries.

Field count has nothing to do with diameter.
 
You simple need to colonise same planet more often.
Fields are given random.
 
And 405 you can get with officer. or addon buildings.


And of course the 1000 is a big bullshitt.
but 340 are realistic max for people below 100K points.
All over 300 is good.



 

My best is 334 without modifiers. When you click on diameter in overview it says in explanation pop-up "Size of the planet is determined by its diameter. Bigger planets often have more free planet fields for constructions." But maybe this is outdated/wrong information?
